Part II: Oratorio

~Day 01 - Closed Door~

***Veronica calls Takuto, Takuto-sama.

One of the pavilion's bedrooms.

Takuto wakes up in a strange bedroom.

'I get off the bed while looking about in the room. I wonder whether here is somewhere in Haishima's house. It felt like it, and I ran up to the door.'

Kou's house - hallway

Takuto goes out into the hallway. It is Kou's house.

'The same making as the passage where I walked on the night of the New Year's Eve.'

Takuto tries to remember what happened but he can't remember anything after being served tea.

CHOICE #8 - Who should I look for?
1. Kou
2. Ryouta

Takuto goes to look for Ryouta.

'The garden can be seen below when looking out the window. Is this the third floor or the fourth floor?'

Ryouta and Takuto find each other

(Hallway - night)
Takuto walks for a long time until he hears Ryouta call his name. Ryouta's angry about waking up in a strange house. Takuto apologizes, but he doesn't know the way around the house either. Ryouta asks if he talked with Kou yet. He hasn't. Ryouta tells him it's almost 3pm.

'The time was 2:55PM. And my shift is supposed to start at 3:00PM. '

Takuto should call Ayako. Ryouta tells him he tried to call Takuto a while ago but he couldn't get a signal. Takuto tries anyway and fails. They try to decide what to do. Ryouta's job doesn't start until 5. Takuto tells him to go since he need to get to work (he wants to meet with Kou alone). Ryouta wants to stay with him, and to meet Takuto's friend. Takuto says he's just a customer. Ryouta doesn't buy it.

They begin to walk down the hallway. Ryouta asks what the guy's name is. They talk about things the translator can't understand...

Ryouta's angry

(Main entrance)
They find the main door...but they can't get it open. Ryouta's pissed and starts pulling on it. Takuto tells him to calm down...and use the key that's sitting in the keyhole to unlock it. Ryouta's embarrassed. They turn the key...but it won't open. Takuto pushes him aside and tries it himself but it's the same results. Ryouta gets angry again and asks if it's true that Kou is really a guest from the flower shop.

Ryouta: "Then why is the house empty? And why won't the door open!"

'However, I did not want to suspect Haishima still. '

Takuto recalls, when they were standing in the snow that night, what Kou says about the loneliness of waking up in the middle of the night alone.

They go to look for Kou.

Ryouta's still angry

(Main entrance)
Ryouta, swearing, shakes the door handle for the umpteenth time today.

'After having met Ryouta again, we strolled in the pavilion for a long time. We kept looking for Haishima. I called out loud, however, we were not able to even meet the housemaid, not to mention Haishima. I still don't understand the situation we're in.

Ryouta gets really angry with the door. Takuto's shocked and tells him to stop. Ryouta argues that he doesn't want to spend the night here again. It's already 7pm.

*the sound of high heels*

'Unexpectedly, that housemaid showed up from the shadow of the passage. She says the meal is ready. Ryouta yells at her to open the door.'

Veronica: "I am sorry, only the master can open the door."

Takuto tries to reason with her but she says that the door doesn't open.

Takuto: It doesn't open...? Is that even possible? We came in through it!

Veronica repeats her statement. Ryouta decides he's going out the window. Takuto tells him not to be so impulsive but Ryouta states the hard truth--that they're trapped and it might be Kou's doing. Thinking to himself, Takuto still doesn't want to believe that Kou is keeping them here. He tells Ryouta that he still hasn't met with Kou. Ryouta's surprised, but Takuto says he wants to know what's going on. Takuto tells him to wait here while he finds Kou. Takuto runs off.
