~Jan. 24 - The Visit~

Winter break's over. His hours at the flower shop have increase and Shibamata from the Genesis label keeps calling him...but he still won't answer.

On the street at night

(Street - night)
Takuto's phone rings. It's Kou, he's not feeling too well. Kou acknowledges that he hasn't seen him since new years. Kou's been so busy and now he's caught a cold. He wants more Pascali but he's too sick to leave. Takuto wonders if he knows that the girl died.

CHOICE #6 - Tell Kou that the girl is dead?
1. Tell him
2. Say nothing.

Kou asks if he knows a girl named [blank]. He heard from an acquaintance that she died in an accident. She also read Kou's books. Kou's amused that Takuto is also interested in the accident. Before they hang up, Takuto asks if he can deliver the Pascali to him. Kou agrees, as long as it isn't any trouble for Takuto. Tonight, Takuto will deliver the flowers.

'In such a way, having ended today without losing a comfortable acquaintance might lighten my mind.

(Flower shop - inside)
Excited, Takuto returns and is happy to see the Pascali look good. Ayako asks why he's so interested in flowers, since it's unusual for a boy. It's because of his grandmother grew flowers. Takuto chooses 30 of the freshest Pascali and leaves.

Takuto frustrated over Ryouta

Outside, Takuto wonders if he should let Ryouta know he's going some place. As he walks, he takes out his cell phone and sees that Ryouta left a voice mail about 15 minutes ago. He's about to listen to it when Ryouta calls. Ryouta asks where he is and before Takuto can tell him the whole story, Ryouta cuts him off. Ryouta's close by so he tells Takuto to wait...and hangs up.

Takuto doesn't want Ryouta to meet Kou. When Ryouta gets there, he asks about the roses. He's delivering them for a sick customer that always comes to the shop. Ryouta finds out it's a person who lives on the mountain. Ryouta wants to go with him to make sure he's safe.

*Takuto's response: head hits desk*

Veronica answers the door

They talk about how amazing the house is. Veronica, the housemaid, answers the door. Takuto's surprised to see a woman. She's to take them to Kou. Takuto says he's only here to deliver the flowers but Veronica insists. She starts to leave but Takuto argues that they don't want to be a burden.

CHOICE #7 - A response to something Ryouta says (suggests they stay)
1. Urge Ryouta to leave.
2. Ask if Ryouta can come too.

'There were certainly feelings that wanted to confirm Haishima's safety.'

Takuto asks if Ryouta can come. It's fine.

Ryouta freaking out over Kou's living room

She leads them to the living room. Takuto's reminded of New Year's and Ryouta's overwhelmed by the room. He should probably tell Ryouta's he's been here before. Veronica has them sit down while she gets the tea. Kou will be here shortly. Veronica leaves. Ryouta jumps up, excited about the room. Takuto tells Ryouta he's been here before, but doesn't say why. They talk briefly about Kou.

'I think about Haishima's age while recalling his face. Judging from his face, he's in his late twenties. He laughs lonesomely as if he has eyes like he's been living for tens of hundreds of years.'

Veronica comes back with the tea. Kou's on the phone about work so it will be a little longer. Takuto says they should go then but Veroncia says that Kou wants them to wait. While she readies the tea, Takuto asks about Kou's health. He also tells her it's too warm in here for the flowers and there isn't any water to give them, since he was going to immediately give them to Kou. Takuto gives the flowers to Veroncia, so she can deliver them to Kou.

Ryouta drinks the tea Veronica makes

When she leaves, Ryouta and Takuto discuss how scary she is--she's so serious. Takuto realizes how insanely thirsty he is after watching Ryouta drink. He's a little sleepy and has some tea...
