Takuto's bedroom - day
Takuto makes scratch number five.
'It was Ryouta's face that came to mind first. I will have to apologize for running away last night.'
Takuto's scared to think about why that happened.
Kou's voice: "Takuto. You have been accustomed by that man."
'Haishima's words from the summer house that night had been stuck in the corner of my mind for a long time. The secret that I have desperately concealed. Why does that person know it?'
CHOICE #17
1. Go look for Ryouta
2. Go look for Kou.
Takuto goes to look for Ryouta to apologize but no matter how many time he knocks, no one answers. He goes to look around on his own. It's weird that he never runs into anyone else. He walks for several hours but doesn't find Ryouta or Kou
'I went back to my room according to Veronica's orders though I felt cold uneasiness for not being able to meet anyone.'
Candles video - Day to Night
'Veronica always came for me when it was time for supper.'
Ryouta had also been looking for him all day. Isn't it weird that they never ran into each other? Takuto's to meet with Kou tonight.
Veronica: "The master waits in the reception room. "
Ryouta glares at Veronica. He wants to come too.
Reception Room, Kou and Ryouta
Kou: "...Good evening."
Ryouta: "...Cheh."
Takuto: "Haishima-san..."
'Haishima was holding the wineglass in the chair in the front of the room when we entered the reception room'
Kou says all they're going to do tonight is talk and tells Veronica to make their favorite drinks.
Kou: "I don't want you to hold back. ...There is no drink that can't be made in this pavilion. Anything is requested and it doesn't matter."
'A little mischievous thought came to mind from Haishima's words. I wanted to embarrass him even it might be childish revenge.'
Takuto asks for a Captain Morgan. Veronica doesn't blink. Takuto's shocked. It's impossible to have that in this high class place. Takuto says to get something light for Ryouta. Veronica leaves with a nod.
Kou: "I do not know your friend's name still. Takuto, will you introduce him?"
Takuto says a different name. Ryouta gets angry and says it himself. Kou's amused, and watches Ryouta for a while. Ryouta finally breaks the silence and asks what's the point of confining them
Kou (calmly): "Killing time."
Veronica comes back with their drinks before Ryouta can start shouting at Kou. Veronica hands him his glass. It's freshly squeezed juice--hardly any alcohol is in it. Cautiously, Ryouta takes a drink and is surprised at the taste.
Kou: "Is it to your liking? There is no reserve, and Veronica won't mind refilling it when the glass becomes empty."
Ryouta gets back to the conversation about being confined. Kou brings up the earlier conversation about Ryouta and Takuto being friends.
Kou: "[What do you do when it is said to go out of Takuto when you die here and it shows it?]"
***Consider he asks something similar to Takuto later, I think he's asking Ryouta about getting killed while trying to help Takuto.
Takuto and Ryouta are surprised at his question.
Kou: "The same old movie story of a game of my choosing; your life or other party's life."
Kou: "Ah. is it indeed impossible? [However, after all, might the fragile one like friendship.]"
Ryouta: "...Bastard!"
Kou: "Chiharu Makita"
They're shocked by the girls name. Takuto remembers the aquamarine earring he found in the basement.
Kou: "The complexion of Ryouta changed. Tentatively, do you say it is a case of guilt for Chiharu?"
Ryouta: "Sh--shut up!!"
CHOICE #18
1. Ask about Chiharu
2. The story of two people is heard.
Takuto: "Haishima-san, um, what do you know about Makita-san?"
'Haishima did not answer anything, however, wine was poured and added to the glass in his hand while calmly laughing.'
Takuto: "Please answer. Why is the name of Makita-san mentioned?"
Kou: "She is an acquaintance."
Takuto: "Eh?"
Kou: "Ryouta. Are you familiar with this name?"
Ryouta: "SHUT UP!!"
*Glass shattering*
Ryouta throws his glass on the floor. Kou laughs and calls him a foolish child.
Ryouta: Shut up!
Kou: *long chuckle* You realize it's true.
'Haishima's hand grips Ryouta's wrist.'
Kou (evil): "Youth is powerless. You're depending too much on such yourself."
'Haishima twists Ryouta's wrist and lifts him without hesitate.'
Ryouta (painfully): "Uaaa!"
Takuto: "Ryouta--!"
'Ryouta drops down on the carpet while groaning in acute pain. I ran up and shouted toward Haishima while holding him back.'
Takuto: "Haishima-san!! Why do you involve Ryouta? Ryouta and you have nothing to do with each other!"
Takuto asks why Kou has to take it out on Ryouta.
Kou: "I will ask the same question to you.""
Takuto: "Eh?"
Kou (quietly): "If it wants to help Ryouta, you are sacrificed. So, dying is also trivial."
Kou: "Will you be violated by me while Ryouta is looking? Open legs like a women while raising your voice?"
Takuto: "!!"
Kou: "You are familiar with such a thing"
Takuto (angry): "!?"
Kou: "...Aah. It was secret to your friend."
Takuto: "Haishima-san!"
Kou: It is not so very different to violate the woman, than to violate a man. However, though the violated side might be painful and your pride shatters. [Isn't the life of your 'Best friend' decieved in it however if surviving?]"
Ryouta: "You bastard!"
Ryouta tries to attack Kou. Kou kicks him.
Ryouta: *painful grunt*
*thud*
Ryouta crumples to the ground. Haishima kicks Ryouta's stomach to his heart's content. Ryouta throws up on the carpet and his clothes.
Takuto: "Ryouta!!"
Kou: "...Ah, the clothes are dirty. It's just as well. Veronica will deliver the new clothes later."
'I glare at Haishima while holding the back of Ryouta who cannot move any longer.'
Takuto (angry): "You're the worst. It is disgusting for the other party to be submitted only by violence and fear."
Kou: "It was your friend who previously raised his hand to me."
Takuto: "!!"
Kou: "I am only saving my own skin. "
'It was certainly true. The power gap was evident, however, Ryouta, was too pitiful. '
Takuto: "I wanted to believe. I wanted to believe you as there might be some reason."
Kou: "...Reason? ---there is none. [The reason is not even in the choice of you either.]"
Takuto: "Haishima-san."
Kou: "Is the prey that the spider hangs it's nest for chosen? The story of the foolish thing that got caught in the trap. In a word, you who strayed off to here and was caught is only foolish."
Takuto (through gritted teeth): "Haishima-san."
'Haishima leaves while laughing thinly. '
Takuto: "Are you okay, Ryouta? Does it hurt still?"
Sore, Ryouta stands up and says he's okay. He forces a laugh. Takuto helps Ryouta walk back to his room.
