History
Lothar's first priority with new wetware is cracking the restrictors to increase performance speed, regardless of it violating the EULA or putting his nervous system at risk. As a teenager, Genar uses this to force Lothar into transferring out of the M. Division and into the OAS, allowing him to meet the requirements he needs to later join ESKE, a corporate licensing and patent enforcer team.

Lothar spends the next three years in the outer ring of southern Akheron killing any monsters that come to close to the perimeter. During his first encounter with Kryito, Lothar pushes his wetware too far and damages his nervous system. Lothar's suspended indefinitely for a list of reasons. OAS armor license revoked, Lothar's reassigned as an OAS custom's agent.

Back in the inner rings of Akheron with a lot of free time on his hands, Lothar get back into old habits and runs into Kryito again while looking for a new DNI dealer. Instead of trying to kill him, Kryito offers him a side job. Lothar accepts.

Notes
Like Sevino, Lothar's a monster hunter, not a patent enforcer. The day Genar wants Lothar to work exclusively for ESKE is the day Lothar will try to kill him.
